Asses the most cost effective and efficient solutions. Manages the work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors. | Organizational Summary | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS | | | | | |
Oversee assigned area, ensuring it is appropriately staffed, operating within budget constraints and that assigned facilities meet KNX organizational requirements. | Ensure assigned employees have career development plans. | Lead efforts to resolve complex issues and problems that impact operations of assigned facilities. | Coordinate work assignments among building technicians, vendors, and contractors. | Review backlogged work orders to ensure that assignments are completed. | Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. | Develop and maintains positive relationships with Knight & Swift Transportation employees. | Inspect facility and generates inspection reports. | Prepare capital project budgets and operating budget reports. | Ensure invoices are coded to the correct cost center accounting classification. | Manage various facilities projects. | Create and manage facility requests in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). | Develop and implement innovative programs and processes that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity. | Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, Environment and Risk Management policies and procedures that relate to the sites. | Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives. |

Education | Education | Associates' degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. | Bachelor's degree preferred. |
Work Experience | Work Experience | 7 years' experience in facilities, property management or related field, required. Multi-site experience preferred. | Previous experience with CMMS required. | General working knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing required. | Previous leadership experience in a facilities management preferred. |
