PRIMARY PURPOSE

Prepare data required to create multiple daily pay cycles in a high volume, multi-state, multi-entity environment.  Research, review, input and approve transactional data required to ensure accurate and timely pay for employees and independent contractors.  Create & analyze reporting required to meet standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with  state and federal regulations & employment laws including but not limited to  FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).  Provide excellence in customer service for internal customers, driving and non-driving employees and independent contractors.

Organizational Summary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Prepare data required to create multiple daily pay cycles in a high volume, multi-state, multi-entity environment.

Research, review, input and approve transactional data required to ensure accurate and timely pay for employees and independent contractors.

Create & analyze reporting required to meet standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with  state and federal regulations & employment laws including but not limited to  FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

Ensure compliance for multiple employee types and varied independent contracts.

Provide excellence in customer service for internal customers, driving and non-driving employees and independent contractors by being the subject matter expert including owner settlement, non-driver personnel action transactions, Comdata cards, direct deposit and banking transactions.

Collaborate with external business units, employees & contractors.

Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.


Work Experience

Work Experience

2 years' previous customer service relations, payroll experience, training expertise or related experience preferred.

Transportation Industry or high volume payroll processing environment preferred.


Skills and Abilities

Must posses exceptional verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Power Point.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
