JOB INFORMATION | | Job Title: | Safety Compliance Coordinator | | Job ID # | J0735 | | Job Family: | Specialist | | Reports To Position: | Senior Leadership | | FLSA | | | PRIMARY PURPOSE | | Administers and audits Safety and Compliance processes and procedures as set forth by the Safety Department to ensure DOT and FMCSR adherence. | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS | | | | | |
Updates CDLs, DOT physicals, MVRs, and CA Pull Notices (CA Employees only) within Infinium and DQ files on an ongoing basis. Researches any issues with received documentation, and works with driver/driver leadership as appropriate. | Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail. | Provides training to new Safety/Compliance personnel. | Prepares statistical data and compiles records and reports for leadership, which includes maintaining and updating various spreadsheets. | Records orders for merchandise or service, and verifies billing is correct. | Follows up with Operations personnel to ensure safety training and disciplinary actions required by the Safety department are carried out per Company policy. | Performs audits of scanned Driver Qualification (DQ) files. | Monitors the company's hazmat hotline calls to ensure hazardous material shipments are legal according to DOT hazardous materials guidelines. | Assists drivers with questions related to the Hazmat Program, including Hazmat informer application troubleshooting. | Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives. | **For CA employees only: Audits California Pull roster***. |
