PRIMARY PURPOSE

Audit driver Daily Logs for accuracy and Hours of Service violations.  Ensure drivers are in compliance with guidelines set forth in section 395 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Audit daily Drivers Electronic Record of Duty Status (ERODS) to ensure compliance with company standards and FMCSR; identify any non-compliant and/or falsified ERODS.

Audit and proactively interact with real time alerting and other periodic reporting of potential violations of Federal HOS regulations and HOS company policy.

Edit E-logs when requested, through ACD call, email or paper logs.

Proactively work with drivers and operations staff to educate on proper use of HOS, Special Duty Status (SDS) use, and In-Cab communication devices.

Answer all Log Support inquiries.

Complete related research and assign driving events.

Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives.

Work Experience

Work Experience

1+ years' of transportation experience required.

Understanding of Hours of Service guidelines preferred.


Skills and Abilities

Must be detail oriented.

Must be proficient in Hours of Service rules/regulations.

Must be proficient with  AS400.

Must possess investigative skills.

Must have excellent communication skills.
