PRIMARY PURPOSE

Monitor and analyze the movements of all designated equipment and cargo across the US within set established perimeters of the Loss Prevention and Safety Policies.  Evaluate situations based on location, activity and time in order to eliminate and/or deter theft, loss and safety concerns to employees. Triage all emergency calls for all brands and locations across the country, including HR, Safety, Physical Security and other departments that are not 24/7.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Assist Security Investigators with data to support their investigations while Investigator is in the field.

Triage all emergency calls for all KNX brands and locations across the country, including HR, Safety, Physical Security and other departments that are not 24/7.

Track and monitor Swift and Knight loads to keep drivers and cargo safe.

Access appropriate database(s) and all other available information and determine potential problem areas.

Utilize the computer based mapping program or hard copy maps to find/follow target locations across the entire United States, as well as in cities and small towns.

Review completed events and determine what happened when as well as the correct order of events.

Develop event patterns by reviewing exchanged messages and fill in missing information using location and event analysis findings.

Perform initial trouble-shooting assessment as to why camera, gate or badge equipment is not functioning accurately while assisting in daily security operations and security alarm monitoring.

Research security footage for Knight-Swift Transportation terminals.

Monitor civil arrest and other potential risks like natural disasters that may affect our drivers or properties and make emergency notifications to employees and drivers in area as needed to protect and warn.

Monitor Physical Security Email after hours and weekends and address issues as they arise.

Monitor Safety Well-Check Email after hours and on weekends and address issues as they arise.

Assist Safety DER in after hours situations related to drug and alcohol.

Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Experience

Previous law enforcement or security experience preferred.


Skills and Abilities

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.

Must possess strong diagnostic capabilities.

Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with a diverse team of people, and with all levels of management.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing work priorities and peak periods.

Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and Windows.
