ADMINISTRATIVE EXEMPTION

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Manage auto property damage and bodily injury claims from initial investigation through evaluation and final settlement, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Incumbents have up to $50,000 reserve authority; $25,000 settlement authority and $20,000 payment authority. Incumbents focused on workers' compensation have up to $100k in total incurred authority.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Investigate, document, evaluate, and resolve property damage and bodily injury claims per KNX Best Practices.

Deliver high-quality claim handling and superior customer service on assigned claims, while engaging in indemnity and expense management.

Collaborate with independent adjusters, third party administrators (TPAs'), claimants and attorneys to effectively assess and mitigate claims.

Establish and maintain reserves based on initial evaluation and claim developments.

Assess claim exposure and prepare detailed written recommendations as needed.

Participate in proactive claim reviews to identify early resolution opportunities and reduce risk.

Support organizational goals by actively assisting team members and promoting a collaborative work environment.

Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Education

Education

Bachelors' degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.


Work Experience

Work Experience

3+ years' experience in insurance/claims required.


Skills and Abilities

Must possess strong investigative skills with the ability to achieve optimal conflict resolutions.

Must have excellent negotiation and customer service skills, ensuring fair outcomes and positive experiences.

Must be proficient written and verbal communication, adept at presenting data and insights to audiences with varying level of technical expertise.

Must be committed to fostering a culture of trust, safety, and ethical standards in all professional interactions.

Must be highly adaptable, able to work independently or collaboratively within dynamic team environments.
